10/9/06: due to popular demand, a second Phoenix date has been added to the 2006 tour. shnap! will now be in Phoenix 11/8 and 12/2. No word yet on whether Alice Cooper and a reformed Emerson, Lake and Palmer will provide opening acts.
10/2/06: shnap! announces a world tour. The "You Don't Know Who Yo' Daddy Is - 2006" tour is set to kick off in Phoenix, Arizona in Early November. Tour updates will be published as they become available.

9/15/06: a brief biography of Dizzle has been added to the History page.
9/14/06: Yorba Linda - in a surprise move, Richard Milhous Nixon, 37th President of the United States of America, has remained dead. According to a spokesman for the band shnap!, this failure to incarnate has forced shnap! to abandon plans for the much anticipated "Trickin' wit' da Dick" double album initially set for a summer 2007 release.

9/11/06: Phoenix - members of the band shnap! today committed to providing up to $1,000,000 in humanitarian aid to victims of prostitution rings in the former Soviet bloc countries. As part of their “Free yo’ Booty” campaign, the band has donated all profits from CD and merchandise sales from a nine month period ending September 11th, 2006 to create a resource fund to provide safe housing, food, and clothing for young females who escape from the “sex rings” of Eastern Europe. In a brief interview, band member J.C. admitted that he has always been interested in Eastern European prostitutes, and wants to make sure they all get "a safe place to live, freedom from a slave-like existence, and a nice Ohio strawberry shortcake”.

9/7/06: Los Angeles - no comment today from spokesmen for funk pioneers George Clinton and Bootsy Collins on the possibility of a new funk supergroup "Parliament Shnapadelic!" Speculation has been high for a week now since rumors of a project involving Clinton, Collins, and various members of the band shnap! first surfaced, but so far there has been no confirmation from either camp. "Obviously, we'd love to work with either of those guys", Dizzle said today in a press release, "but I really can't comment right now on whether that will happen."
9/6/06: London - management for rock supergroup U2 has failed to deny rumors that progressive/funk/rock/jazz/jam/
indie/undie band shnap! will co-headline the North American leg of U2's upcoming tour. Neither lead vocalist Bono nor guitarist The Edge has issued any comment.
